Larry Johnson

Managing Director

Larry Johnson is a Managing Director of Diamond Capital Advisors. Larry comes to the firm with over twenty-five years of transactional and advisory experience in M&A and capital raising. He was a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Practice at both Deloitte and Price Waterhouse, where he was also co-head of the National Private Placement Practice. While at Deloitte, he was instrumental in the development of the Corporate Finance Practice in both the Chicago and Los Angeles Offices. Larry began his corporate finance career as a buy-side investment manager at Equitable Capital Management, the fixed income investment arm of Equitable Life, where he managed portfolios and invested in debt and equity transactions.

Larry has provided corporate finance and business advice to management teams and corporate boards in a variety of industries. He currently serves on the Board of Broadcaster Inc. (BCAS: OTC), a developer of visual content and software for the online games and cellular phone markets, where he is a member of both the Audit and Litigation Committees. Over the past four years, Larry has been active in the specialty food industry, where he has founded several businesses, including Holland Pacific Foods, LLC, a company focused on the development, manufacture and sale of creative, healthy, convenience driven meal solutions and flavor profiles for the food service and retail markets. Larry’s businesses serve such names as MGM Mirage, Publix Markets and Ahold.

Larry is active in Rotary International, having served as President of his local Rotary Club and currently serving as a Senior Assistant Governor for Rotary District 5280. He is active as a community youth leader and also as a member of a choral group. Larry received his MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Economics from Boston College. An avid golfer, Larry also is an aficionado of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He is certified by FINRA as a General Securities Representative.
